Terms of Service

Welcome to Tapework, an iPhone app for applying authentic analog-video effects to your videos. By downloading or using Tapework, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Who provides Tapework

Tapework is published by Arcada LLC ("we", "us"). Contact: via the Support page.

2. License to use the app

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Tapework on Apple devices that you own or control, for personal or commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms of Use.

3. Your content

Videos you process in Tapework stay on your device. Tapework does not upload your media to our servers. You retain all rights to your content. By exporting a processed video you confirm that you have the right to use the source video.

4. Free vs Pro

Tapework offers a free tier with selected presets and standard export, and a Pro tier unlocked via in-app purchase (annual subscription, lifetime purchase, or monthly subscription) that unlocks all presets, removes the watermark, and enables 4K export.

5. Subscriptions and one-time purchases

• Annual and Monthly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro on all of your Apple devices signed in to the same Apple ID, including Family Sharing where enabled.
• All payments are processed by Apple. We do not store your payment information.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms of Use.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Tapework, except to the extent permitted by applicable law. You agree not to use Tapework to create content that violates the law of your jurisdiction or the rights of others.

7. Disclaimer

Tapework is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the app will be free of errors or that processing will always complete successfully. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of Tapework is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to the app and these Terms

We may update Tapework and these Terms over time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be notified within the app.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Arcada LLC's place of incorporation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rights of your jurisdiction continue to apply.
