I exported a video and the effect isn't applied to the file

If you're using an early development build (Expo Go preview), real-time preview shows the effect but baked-in export requires the production EAS build. For the App Store release this is fully supported — export saves the file with the effect baked in.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Tapework → Cancel Subscription. You retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period.

I bought Lifetime but Pro is locked on my other iPhone / iPad

Open Tapework on the device → Settings → tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom of the paywall. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID. Family Sharing is supported for the Lifetime purchase if you have enabled it in iOS.

I paid for Annual but Pro hasn't unlocked

If the purchase went through Apple but Tapework still shows Free, force-close the app and reopen. If the issue persists, tap "Restore Purchases" on the paywall. If still not resolved, email support with your transaction ID (visible in your Apple receipt).

My video looks washed out or the effect is too strong

Drag the Intensity slider in the editor to dial the effect strength up or down. Each preset is parameterized — at 30% you get subtle character, at 90% you get heavy distortion.

Why can't I export in 4K?

4K export is a Pro feature. Free tier exports at 1080p. Upgrade in Settings or via any locked preset card.

Does Tapework work on Android / iPad / Mac?

Currently iPhone (iOS 17+). iPad support is on the roadmap.

Can I request a refund?

Refunds are handled directly by Apple under their Media Services Terms of Use. Request via reportaproblem.apple.com.
