Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Tapework, published by Arcada LLC, handles information.

Short version

• Your videos stay on your device. Tapework processes video locally on your iPhone using a GPU shader. We do not upload your media to our servers.
• We don't ask for personal information. Tapework does not require an account, email address, or login.
• Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your payment card or Apple ID password.
• Anonymous diagnostics, opt-out. When enabled by Apple, we may receive aggregated, anonymous crash reports through Apple's standard system. You can disable this in iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Improvements.

Data we access on your device

• Photos library (videos only): when you tap "Pick a video" we use Apple's standard Photos picker so you can select a clip. The picker only returns the videos you explicitly choose; we don't browse the rest of your library.
• Save to Photos: when you tap Export, Tapework saves the resulting file to your Photos library, with your permission.

Data we receive from Apple

• Subscription receipts: when you purchase Pro, Apple sends our purchase-verification service (RevenueCat) a signed receipt so we can know whether your subscription is active. The receipt contains the product purchased and the renewal date — not your name, email, or payment details.
• App Store analytics: Apple provides us with aggregated download and impression numbers. We don't receive individual user identifiers.

Third-party services

• RevenueCat — handles subscription verification. Privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Apple App Store — handles downloads, purchases, refunds, and Family Sharing. Apple's privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Children

Tapework is suitable for ages 4+ per the App Store rating. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us via the Support page.

Your rights

Because we don't store identifiable user data, there is nothing to export, correct, or delete on our side. Subscription state is held by Apple and RevenueCat; you can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions at any time.

International users

Tapework is available worldwide via the App Store. Subscription processing happens through Apple's infrastructure. RevenueCat operates servers in the United States and EU.

Changes to this Policy

We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be notified within the app.
